What are the requirements of the M- Colombian Digital nomad visa?
General requirements:
Digital photograph of the applicant, document size, preferably taken in a studio (white background, 3x4 cm).
Copy of the main passport page.
Copy of the last Colombian visa (only if applicable
If located in a country other than the country of residence, provide a document proving migratory regularity in that country (for foreigners who do not require a visa to enter Colombia).
Specific requirements:
Be the holder of a passport issued by one of the countries or territories exempt from short-term visa requirements, according to the Resolution.
A letter in Spanish or English, issued by one or more foreign companies for which the applicant provides services, indicating the type of relationship and the type of remuneration the applicant receives. If the applicant has a contract with the company, they must provide it, or demonstrate that they are a partner or co-owner of a company abroad, along with a letter stating that their work for the company is done remotely.
Provide bank statements proving a minimum income equivalent to three (3) Current Minimum Legal Monthly Salaries over the last 3 months.
Health insurance policy covering the national territory, covering all risks such as accidents, illness, maternity, disability, hospitalization, death, or repatriation, for the time of stay in the country.
Company Existence Certificate: A document issued by the competent authority, certifying the legal constitution of the company, its legal representation, and other relevant information about its existence and operation.
Criminal Record Certificate: The criminal record certificate must be issued by the applicant's country of residence or the last country where they have lived for the past 3 years. This document must meet the following requirements: Apostille: The document must have the corresponding apostille to ensure its international validity. Translated to Spanish: If the document is in another language, it must be translated into Spanish by an official translator.
