What are the requirements of the V - Religious Colombian visa?
General requirements:
Digital photograph of the applicant, document size, preferably taken in a studio (white background, 3x4 cm).
Copy of the main passport page.
Copy of the last Colombian visa (only if applicable
If located in a country other than the country of residence, provide a document proving migratory regularity in that country (for foreigners who do not require a visa to enter Colombia).
Specific requirements:
Certificate of recognition and legal representation of the respective religious organization issued by the Ministry of the Interior or by the competent Diocese or Archdiocese. For other religious organizations, the Visa and Immigration Authority will consult their recognition and legal representation in the Public Register of Religious Entities of the Ministry. If this consultation is not possible, the applicant will be required to provide it.
Motivational letter from the legal representative of the religious organization stating that the applicant belongs to their hierarchy, detailing the type of employment or work contract, purpose, and planned activities for the foreigner in Colombia, and assuming responsibility for the foreigner's social security and health coverage.
The requesting entity or organization must prove financial solvency through bank statements showing an average of one hundred (100) current legal monthly minimum wages over the six (6) months prior to the application.
