What are the requirements of the V - Business processes visa?

General requirements:

Digital photograph of the applicant, document size, preferably taken in a studio (white background, 3x4 cm).

Copy of the main passport page.

Copy of the last Colombian visa (only if applicable

If located in a country other than the country of residence, provide a document proving migratory regularity in that country (for foreigners who do not require a visa to enter Colombia).

Specific requirements:

Proof of financial solvency from the applicant and/or the person issuing the invitation through bank statements from the last six (6) months, demonstrating monthly income not less than ten (10) current legal minimum monthly salaries (SMMLV).

Additionally, proof of cash flow from the legal entity through bank statements for the three (3) months prior to the visa application.

Documents showing business activities, market studies, investment plans or procedures, company formation, negotiations, contract signing, or commercial representation.

A written communication from the applicant detailing their full identification and explaining the activities the foreigner intends to carry out in the country (including details, participants, duration, schedule, location, and other relevant aspects).

If invited, the applicant must provide a written request from the Colombian host or a foreign citizen (only if they are the primary holder of a Permanent Resident (R) Visa), signed by hand and with a thumbprint (right or left index or thumb). The request must clearly include the host’s contact phone number, physical address, and email address, the type of relationship with the foreigner, and their financial responsibility for the foreigner’s travel and stay in the country.

In the request, the host must also provide information on any other foreign citizens they have hosted and commit to guaranteeing the foreigner’s return to their country of origin or report if the foreigner stays irregularly in the country.
