What are the requirements of the M- Retirement Colombian visa?
General requirements:
Digital photograph of the applicant, document size, preferably taken in a studio (white background, 3x4 cm).
Copy of the main passport page.
Copy of the last Colombian visa (only if applicable
If located in a country other than the country of residence, provide a document proving migratory regularity in that country (for foreigners who do not require a visa to enter Colombia).
Specific requirements:
Certification of a lifetime pension payment in favor of the visa applicant, with a monthly amount no lower than three (3) current legal monthly minimum wages. This document must be issued by the competent authority, duly apostilled and translated, or by the diplomatic or consular mission of the country where the applicant obtained the pension.
Criminal, judicial, or police background certificate issued by the authority of the country where the applicant has resided for the past three (3) years. This document must comply with the apostille or legalization and translation requirements established in Article 21 of the present Resolution.
Medical certificate issued by the Colombian health authority or the medical authority of the applicant's country of origin, confirming the applicant’s physical and mental fitness.
Proof of health coverage in Colombia, or an international health insurance policy covering all risks, including accidents, illness, maternity, disability, hospitalization, death, or repatriation, for the duration of the applicant’s stay in the country.
Others as requested at the time of acceptance.
