  2. Birth Certificate: Must be issued within the last 90 days. This certificate must include a note from the notary or civil registry office validating it for marriage procedures. If the document is from another country, it must be apostilled and officially translated by a certified translator in Colombia.
  3. Affidavit of Single Status: A sworn statement made at a notary office in which both parties declare, under oath, that they are single and have no legal impediments to marry.
  4. Copies of IDs of Two Adult Witnesses: These witnesses must be present at the ceremony. (Depending on the notary, their presence and ID copies may be required during the application process.)
