Thus, to obtain the Religious Colombian Visitor Visa, you must meet specific requirements. These include presenting the according certification issued by the Ministry of the Interior or by the Archdiocese or Diocese.

Additionally, you must include a letter from the legal representative or hierarchical superior of the religious community. This letter should specifically state the religious activity to perform in the national territory, in accordance with the new Colombian visa policy.

What are the requirements to apply for the Colombian V - Religious Visa?

Document size digital picture of the applicant on a photography shop (3×4 Cm White background).

Copy of your passport’s main page.

Certification issued by the Ministry of the Interior, or by the Archdiocese or Diocese, specifically stating that the mentioned religious institution is duly registered or registered.

Letter of economic responsibility issued by the legal representative or hierarchical superior of the religious community, which additionally specifies the mission that comes to fulfill the foreigner and indicates the link of this with the religious entity.

Additionally, include a motivational letter from the legal representative of the religious organization informing that the applicant belongs to its hierarchy, stating the type of relationship or employment contract, purpose and activities planned in Colombia, social security and health coverage.
