Contingency on DIAN's Platform: Updates and Recommendations

In recent days, many taxpayers have reported difficulties when attempting to file their tax returns through the platform of the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN).

Since August 12, 2024, the DIAN platform has experienced high demand, resulting in technical issues, particularly in the generation and electronic signing of documents.

On August 11 alone, over 113,000 tax returns were submitted through the system, overwhelming the servers and causing inconveniences for numerous users.

Extension of Deadlines for Filing Tax Returns

The DIAN has announced that taxpayers who were required to file their returns between August 12 and August 16, 2024, now have until Tuesday, August 20, 2024, to do so.

This new deadline will allow you to file and pay your obligations without incurring late filing penalties or interest.
