V - Tourism Visa

The Visitor Tourism visa is meant for tourism or cultural interest, and for those who do not have free entry to the country just by presenting their valid passport.

“The visitor visa is meant for those who do not have free entry to the country just by presenting their valid passport and is granted for a maximum of 180 continuous or discontinuous days”

The permanence in the country is granted for a maximum of 180 continuous or discontinuous days in each 365 days of use of the visa. However, if you wish to stay longer, you can leave Colombian territory and renew your visa outside the country.

Otherwise, the permanence in the country for longer than stipulated will result in a fine that you will have to pay when leaving the country or even in deportation and loss of permission to return to the country as stipulated by the Colombian visa policy.
