The Migrant Investment Colombian Visa requests for you to invest a minimum of 350 times the minimum wage in Colombia, that is $455,000,000 COP for 2024.
To apply for the real estate investment visa you must present a certificate of liberty and tradition of the acquired property that proves ownership of the domain, as well as a document issued by the Department of International Exchange issued by the Banco de la República, certifying the registration of direct foreign investment for the purchase of real estate under the name of the foreign applicant to the visa, in accordance with the provisions of the general regimen of foreign investment and foreign exchange, and other current Colombian visa policy.
The M – Investment visa is granted for up to three years and allows you to apply for a Colombian Residency after holding it for five years.
What are the requirements to apply for the Colombian M - Real Estate Investor Visa?
Document size digital picture of the applicant on a photography shop (3×4 Cm White background).
Copy of your passport’s main page.
A Copy of the last entry, exit or safe-conduct stamp (It depends on the location of the foreigner).
Copy of the last Colombian visa (if applicable).
For foreign direct investment:
Provide a communication issued by the International Exchange Department of the Bank of the Republic with the registration of the foreign direct investment in its name and that the amount is greater than six hundred and fifty (650) minimum wages (SMMLV).
Financial responsibility letter signed by the main visa holder.
For investment in Real Estate:
Provide Certificate of Tradition and Freedom of the real estate whose ownership of the property is exclusively under your name, for a minimum value equivalent to three hundred and fifty (350) minimum wages (SMMLV), that is $455,000,000 COP for 2024.
Communication issued by the Department of International Exchanges of the Bank of the Republic in which the registration of the direct foreign investment for the purchase of real estate in the name of the foreigner requesting the visa is recorded.
If the visa is requested for the second and subsequent times, the foreigner must demonstrate that he/she maintained the investment or the possession of the real estate during all the validity of his/her previous visa.
Bank statements of the last three months (3) to demonstrate economic solvency to remain in the country.
Health policy with coverage in the national territory against all risks for your stay in the country.
Others requested at the time of acceptance.
