M - Mercosur Visa

If you are a citizen of the countries members of the Mercosur economic bloc (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Bolivia), you can apply for the Mercosur Migrant Visa and later on even obtain a Colombian residency. 

The benefit that the Mercosur Migrant Visa presents to non-Spanish speakers who have family members who have citizenship of one of the mentioned countries, they will be able to apply for this visa and once its members obtain it they can later apply for a beneficiary visa for their spouses and young children.




What are the requirements to apply for the Colombian M - Mercosur Visa?

Document size digital picture of the applicant on a photography shop (3×4 Cm White background).

Copy of your passport’s main page.

Copy of the last entry, exit or safe-conduct stamp (It depends on the location of the foreigner).

A Copy of the last Colombian visa (if applicable).

Letter of request of Temporary Resident Visa under the Agreement on Residence of the States Parties of Mercosur and Associates explaining the activity that will develop in Colombia and the means of subsistence for the permanence.

Passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months.

Certificate of judicial, criminal or police record issued by the authority of the country where you resided during the three (3) years prior to the visa application. The document must be apostilled or certified by the Consulate of the country accredited in Colombia and translated.

Image of the stamp of entry to the country.
