Who can apply for a Colombian V- Digital Nomad Visa?
The Digital Nomad Visa is available to citizens of the countries that Colombia does not request a visa to enter, can demonstrate that they work for an international company, plan to start a business based on digital content or technology information of interest to the country and have earned a steady income through remote work or freelance activities.
One of the main benefits of the Digital Nomad Visa is the flexibility it offers to remote workers. With this visa, digital nomads can work from anywhere in Colombia, whether it’s a big city or a small town. The visa also allows travelers to enter and exit the country as many times as they need during the visa’s validity period.
What are the requirements to apply for the Colombian V - Digital Nomad Visa?
Document size digital picture of the applicant on a photography shop (3×4 Cm White background).
Copy of your passport’s main page.
Copy of the last entry, exit or safe-conduct stamp (It depends on the location of the foreigner).
A Copy of the last Colombian visa (if applicable).
Passport issued by one of the countries or territories exempted from short stay visa, according to the Resolution (If applicable).
Letter in Spanish or English, issued by one or more foreign companies for which you provide services for, indicating the type of relationship and remuneration received.
In the case of entrepreneurs, a motivational letter explaining your entrepreneurial project and the financial and human resources for you venture.
Bank statements with a minimum income equivalent to three (3) Minimum Legal Monthly Wages in Force (SMMLV) during the last 3 months.
Health policy with coverage in the national territory against all risks for your stay in the country.
Others requested at the time of acceptance.
