V - Event Participant Visa
If your reason to visit the country is due to any event which involves your participation as an artist, athlete or others, the Event Participant Visitor visa is the visa you will need to apply for.
For the Event participant Visa, you will be required to present a letter that explains the activities you will carry out in Colombia, and it must include specific details such as planned agenda, duration, schedule, location, and more. Also, you need your bank statement 6 months prior to the visa application as proof of solvency and academic support, or other proofs which evidentiates that you are qualified to perform the activity that you will develop in the country.
What are the requirements to apply for the Colombian V - Event Participant Visa?
Document size digital picture of the applicant on a photography shop (3×4 Cm White background).
Copy of your passport’s main page.
Copy of the last entry, exit or safe-conduct stamp (It depends on the location of the foreigner).
Copy of the last Colombian visa (if applicable).
Letter signed by the legal representative of the entity or by the person who supports the application, including full identification of the entity, contact details, full identification of the applicant, reason for the trip, duration and economic responsibility declaration for the your expenses.
When the institution or company that supports the application is private and incorporated abroad, provide a Certificate of existence duly apostilled and translated.
Academic or performer support evidence of the activity to be performed in the country.
Bank statements with a minimum income equivalent to three (3) Minimum Legal Monthly Wages in Force (SMMLV) during the last 3 months.
Health policy with coverage in the national territory against all risks for your stay in the country.
Others requested at the time of acceptance.
